Mahasiswa Ilmu Keolahragaan UNSIKA membutuhkan kompetensi strategi pemulihan berbasis bukti ilmiah, khususnya aquatic active recovery.

Physical recovery is a crucial component of sports periodization training, often neglected in university curricula. Sports science students at UNSIKA require evidence-based recovery competencies, particularly aquatic active recovery. The "Swim for Recovery" community service program aimed to enhance the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of IKOR UNSIKA students regarding swimming as an active recovery medium post-intensive exercise. Methods included theoretical education (interactive seminar, 2x50 min) and swimming practicum (4 sessions x 90 min). Evaluation used pre-test and post-test via Wayground platform. Results showed an increase in mean accuracy from 37.0% to 44.2%. N-Gain analysis on 20 paired participants yielded a mean N-Gain of 0.16. N-Gain distribution: 25% Medium, 50% Low, and 25% No Improvement. The program successfully improved students' knowledge and practical aquatic recovery skills.
