Abstrak
Penentuan kadar obat dalam sampel biologis, seperti darah, plasma, serum, urin, jaringan, dan feses merupakan masalah yang menjadi perhatian. Peningkatan minat penelitian pada senyawa, baik obat eksisting beserta metabolitnya, maupun kandidat obat baru menunjukkan bahwa perlu adanya pendekatan pengembangan baru terhadap metode analisisnya. Preparasi sampel merupakan tahapan penting untuk menghilangkan pengaruh matriks dan serta meningkatkan kinerja analisis suatu metode. Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) sebagai metode pemisahan dengan fitur unik yang bersifat selektif terhadap molekul target telah diaplikasikan berbagai macam aplikasi dan manfaat khususnya ketika digunakan sebagai adsorben dalam metode preparasi untuk analisis sampel biologis dan matriks yang kompleks. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran terkait penggunaan MIP dalam bioanalisis senyawa obat. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan review artikel terkait konsep bioanalisis dan penerapan MIP untuk analisis komponen obat dalam matriks biologis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat peningkatan jumlah studi tentang pengembangan MIP selama dekade terakhir. Investigasi menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan dalam metode bioanalisis berbasis MIP. Hasil studi menunjukkan keunggulan MIP sebagai metode preparasi yang memiliki akurasi, reproduktifitas, sensitivitas, kecepatan, dan efektivitas biaya yang tinggi yang membuatnya cocok untuk penggunaan klinis. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi pengantar untuk membuka peluang penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengembangan MIP untuk bioanalis senyawa obat.
