Correction and Retraction Policy
PharmaCine: Journal of Pharmacy, Medical and Health Science is committed to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the scholarly record. On rare occasions, it may be necessary to alter a published article. The journal handles these situations in accordance with COPE guidelines through the following mechanisms:
  • Correction (Errata / Corrigenda): An amendment will be issued if an honest error is discovered that affects the publication's metadata or parts of the text (e.g., author names, mislabeled figures, or minor typographical errors) but does not invalidate the paper's scientific conclusions. A formal notice linked to the original article will be published.
  • Retraction: An article will be retracted if there is clear evidence of scientific misconduct, unreliable findings due to major honest errors, plagiarism, data fabrication, or redundant publication. A formal retraction notice will replace the abstract, and the original PDF will be watermarked as "RETRACTED" to ensure transparency.
  • Expression of Concern: The editorial board may issue an expression of concern if an investigation into potential research misconduct is ongoing or inconclusive, but significant doubts remain regarding the integrity of the work.
