Abstract

The Decision Making Tool (ABPK) is one of the important instruments in the family planning (KB) program, which aims to help couples of childbearing age (PUS) choose a contraceptive method that suits their needs. As health workers who interact directly with PUS, midwives have an important role in using ABPM to provide the right information and support in choosing a family planning method. This study aims to examine the knowledge of midwives in using ABPK in the context of family planning. This study uses a quantitative design with a descriptive approach and involves 23 midwives who work at the Rengasdengklok regional health center. The results of the study show that most midwives have quite good knowledge about ABPK, have high motivation and many have participated in training. However, there is still room for increased understanding and skills in implementing this tool effectively in family planning servicesKeywords: Continuity of Care, midwifery, management,
